Our Services Are Available During November Lockdown

03/11/2020
covid message update

We were all hoping that it wouldn’t come down to this - a second lockdown at the onset of winter - however, we are more prepared this time around. We want to reassure all of our landlords and tenants that we will be continuing to work (in a Covid-secure manner) throughout the November lockdown.

The government have been admirably clear that they are not calling a halt to the housing industry, with the Secretary of State for Housing, Minister Robert Jenrick, writing on Twitter:

"The housing market will remain open throughout this period. Everyone should continue to play their part in reducing the spread of the virus by following the current guidance. Renters and homeowners will be able to move; removal firms and estate agents can operate; construction sites can and should continue; Tradespeople will be able to enter homes; but all must follow the Covid safety guidance.”

We’ll be giving our full support to our valued landlords and tenants. Please take a moment to read the information below regarding how we can help.

Landlords

We want you to know that we are here and available for all your regular requirements. We will undertake viewings at any unoccupied properties. Most properties that we are managing already have videos that can be sent to prospective tenants.

Tenants

Please contact us as you  usually do. All essential maintenance and servicing of your property will continue. As we have done since the onset of the pandemic, we will check when we notify you of anyone attending the house that no one is isolating or showing Covid-19 symptoms.

Prospective tenants

If you are searching for a property, please make use of our online video tours. We can also arrange viewings of unoccupied properties in person or via virtual viewings. If you have any questions, we would be more than happy to host a Zoom meeting. We can arrange a digital signature of paperwork for the tenancy to avoid the necessity of attending in person.

If you would like to get in touch with us for any reason, our phone line 01603 980770 will be staffed during office hours and you can also contact us by email, hello@pearllettings.co.uk, or via Facebook Messenger on our website or Facebook page.
