We often write about our student tenants, but many landlords are looking for someone who will stay in the property longer than an academic year. Someone who will value the property as a home of their own, perhaps for many years. Finding the right tenant for landlords that prefer to let their properties for a longer term is a service we are pleased to offer.

When it comes to pairing tenants with properties, we have plenty of experience of housing working professionals and families. Both of these types of renters tend to appreciate the hassle-free practicalities of renting, and appreciate the security of staying in a property that is well-maintained on their behalf.

There are quite a few benefits to having established tenants renting properties for longer term periods of time:

  • Good for the property. Tenants who are renting for a longer term tend to treat the property as their own home that they can be proud of.
  • Development of mutual respect. Once they are established, the landlord knows the property is in good hands, and the tenant knows that we are just an email away if any issues do arise.
  • No finders fees. With settled tenants, the landlord doesn’t have to pay tenant-find fees every 6-12 months to find new occupants for their property.

If you have a property that you think would be suitable for letting to a family or sharing professionals that have the potential to become long-term tenants, we’d love to hear from you. We can take all the hassle out of property management and maintenance. For family lets, our fee is just 10% of your rental income, and for professionals only 8%!
